Nearly
half of Britons (41%) will pass their summer holidays in the UK as a
result of the current economic situation which will mean an income bonus
of 8.7 million pounds (10.6 million), according to a study by Travelodge.
After
a survey of more than 5,000 English to know what would be your summer
plans, the study of the hotel chain found that 41% chose to stay in the
country, an increase of 6% over 2011.
It is estimated that the weekly cost will be around 43 pounds (530 euros), about 10.7 pounds (13 euros) last year. Overall UK paid 8.7 million pounds (10.6 million) representing an increase of 1.5 million pounds (1.8 million)
As
the most popular destinations, the 'Top 5' is led by the cities of
Cornwall, Edinburgh, Lake District, London and the Scottish highlands
farthest outposts leaving Glasgow or Yorkshire Dales.
On
the other hand, a third of adults choosing to relive his childhood as
the British coast vacation destination while 30% opt for the most
important cities in the UK and a quarter of plans to enjoy the British
