Bamberg, a treasure in Bavaria

Protected by seven hills and a thousand years of history, this beautiful city is one of the big surprises hidden in Germany, and is also a World Heritage Site.
Surrounded by a lush green landscape, Bamberg is a charming city that its residents like to compare with Rome's seven hills that protect it. But in Venice, because in the banks of the river Regnitz, beautiful buildings line the nineteenth century with a lattice of wooden houses with balconies and small gardens and small little boat at the door. Its cathedral, 1237, which were the residence of the bishops after the sixteenth century, the Old and New, or City Hall, built on an island in the middle of the river are some of its architectural merits, but Bamberg is much more. It has modern shops, an active cultural program, a lively nightlife and nine breweries producing more than 50 different types of beer. In short, a perfect place for a short break.
